Wen-Chieh Chang

Wen-Chieh Chang is a Ph.D student at Iowa State University.

His research interests are focused on the following fields:

Computational Biology. He is Currently working on Dr. Oliver Eulenstein's computational biology lab. He is mainly focusing on gene duplication problem, which is a model to explain inconsistency between gene phylogeny and species phylogeny.

Visualization. Through the advance of interactive computer graphics, we are able to infer information that is not easily expressed otherwise.

Computer Graphics and Robotics. Before joining the computational biology lab, he worked with former ISU faculty Steve LaValle on an undergraduate research project. He is interested in using technologies in these areas to solve computational biology problems.
